The Founder
I’m Serlina Boyd, founder of the Cocoa Dream Society, which I established in 2021 without any funding. What began as a grassroots effort delivering free community festivals has grown into an initiative that has supported and positively impacted hundreds of children through our events, programmes, and school-based activities.
My own children, Faith and Solomon, are homeschooled, and it was through that experience that I recognised a deeper need for children to have meaningful opportunities to connect, play, and grow with others. This inspired me to start a school holiday club where children could come together in a safe, engaging environment and build
friendships beyond the home.
Today, the Cocoa Dream Society operates at the intersection of philanthropy and children’s wellbeing, dedicated to creating spaces where happiness, confidence, and creativity can flourish. We are more than a charitable initiative; we are a carefully curated collective delivering thoughtful, high-quality programmes designed to enrich children’s experiences, support their development, and strengthen community connection.
